What is Colostrim™?
Colostrim™ contains colostrum with a natural balance of vitamins, minerals, protein, growth factors, anti microbial factors and antioxidants in an easily assimilated form. It is naturally low in fat and carbohydrates and high in protein. Colostrim™ represents an exciting nutritional breakthrough with amazing health and longevity benefits that are perhaps unequalled by any other single food source available in the marketplace today.
Colostrim™ may enhance the body’s optimal balance by assisting the regulation of blood sugar. Enhances the conversion of fat to lean muscle mass and stimulates the activity of the human immune system.
Colostrim™ is a superior supplement for the health conscious individual who is striving to maximize a dynamic body image through a combined effort of diet, nutrition and exercise. Colostrim™ may assist the body in weight reduction and may actually accelerate the process of lean muscle conversion when combined with resistive weight training and aerobic exercise.

Why is Colostrim™ Different?
Colostrim™ is unlike many other food sources in that it contains certain unique growth factors including insulin-like growth factors I and II (IGF-I and IGF-II, respectively). These compounds stimulate cell growth and are believed to respond like hormones within the blood while potentially acting as growth factors on local tissues. IGF-I is a primary insulin-like growth factor found in bovine colostrum and it is considered to be biologically more potent than IGF-II. The IGF-I in bovine colostrum ranges from 200-2,000 µg/l, as compared to normal milk which contains roughly less than10 µg/l. In healthy adults, IGF-I levels are found at a concentration of nearly 200 µg/l in the serum. Furthermore, IGF-I is believed to have a strong anabolic effect on muscle tissue development. IGF-I acts by mimicking many of the common effects associated with growth hormone. The effects of growth hormone on skeletal muscle are also believed to be directly linked to mediation by IGF-I activity.
Colostrim™ contains natural Growth Factors (ex. Insulin-like Growth Factor 1) that have been clinically shown to increase lean muscle tissue while promoting the burning of body fat for energy. With a benefit like that, it is no wonder that some biotechnology companies are promoting and marketing Insulin-like Growth Factor 1(IgF-1) on the open market for as much as $800.00 per 50cc vial. When one considers such exorbitant pricing, Colostrim™ with natural IgF-1 may be viewed by some as a low-cost alternative in the fight to stay trim.
Additional health and wellness components contained within Colostrim™ are the numerous antimicrobial factors, which include immunoglobulins, lactoperoxidase, lysozyme, and lactoferrin. Bovine colostrim is perhaps the richest natural occurring source of these disease fighting immunoglobulins. Many of the immunoglobulins although degraded by the digestive enzymes may provide nutritive peptides for the utilization and subsequent synthesis of vital proteins. If some of the immunoglobulins were to be absorbed intact they may potentially confer passive immunity to the recipient, which may offer a boost to a healthy immune response. This might be akin to the passive immunity conferred by nursing mothers to their suckling offspring.
Clinical Studies show that colostrum-rich Colostrim™ enhances physical and mental performance in athletes. In an ever-changing sports environment, it is no wonder that Colostrim™ is sought after by world class athletes for quality performance enhancement and competitive-edge training.
